How It All Happens

The Partnership

The coaching relationship is a partnership and there is a sense in which we both sculpt it together and there is a definite sense in which we do give each other two-way feedback.

Even though I am there to support you on your journey and am committed to assist you, it is not my responsibility to carry you because you ultimately will be responsible for the actions that you take (or not take) throughout this whole process.

As your coach, I will listen intently to what you have to say….I will encourage….I will ask questions and perhaps challenge you….I will make requests and on occasion….I will give you advice.

I will do this as a way of keeping you in touch with yourself and as a way of keeping you on target with what you want and what you desire.

How it Happens

Through regular coaching sessions (which could be weekly, fortnightly, monthly or quarterly), my clients identify what is uppermost for them and they align their thoughts, feelings, and actions accordingly.

These sessions could be face-to-face, on the phone, via FaceTime or Skype.

Generally before the first coaching session, I ask you to complete a brief on yourself according to some set questions that allows me to understand you better before we interact.

As your coach, I partner with you to identify what you want both professionally and personally and support you in achieving the kind of life that you really want and desire.

As your coach, I will assist you:

  • to set goals that you really want
  • to do more than you may have done on your own behalf
  • to focus better in order to produce results faster
  • to undertake homework tasks
  • to determine your own "answers" through the work done in our partnership
  • to find the tools, strategies and support to accomplish what you desire
